eLearning Module:
The Redundancy Principle
The instructional problem for this project was developing an e-learning module on a chapter of Clark and Mayer’s book, E-Learning and the Science of Instruction, for an audience of the graduate students. My subject was The Redundancy Principle, and my e-learning solution was a multimedia module created in Articulate Storyline 360 that included instruction on The Redundancy Principle, interactive opportunities to practice skills in context, formative knowledge checks, and a summative assessment to measure mastery. I undertook a 7-week design and development process that required going through all the steps of producing an e-learning product, creating a design plan, and developing the module using an industry standard authoring tool.
The module received positive evaluations from students in the class, the professor, and others that I tested it on, who remarked on its “professional quality.”
"Great Job, 100%! Courtney did a wonderful job developing this project. The module is very well done, and she did a great job incorporating the feedback received from me and your peers."
